The Southern York County Region Planning Commission (SYCRPC) is a collaboration between Glen Rock Borough, New Freedom Borough, Shrewsbury Borough, Railroad Borough, and Shrewsbury Township.
The SYCRPC is chiefly responsible for updating the Region’s Comprehensive Plan. The Commission will also assist with other regional planning efforts related to land use, zoning, transportation, and the provision of public services.
The SYCRPC is committed to promoting sustainable development and enhancing the quality of life for all residents of Southern York County.
Funding
This comprehensive planning effort was financed utilizing funds from the York County Community Development Block Grant Program and through funding from the York County Open Space and Land Preservation Board.
